A truck transporting frozen chicken was involved in an accident along the Queens Road near Navua this morning.

The Fiji Times came across workers salvaging bags of frozen chicken and re-palletising them at about 7am.

It appears the truck may have hit a tree in the course of the accident as the cabin was badly damaged.
